How to find your Google Reviews link

Today, online reviews play a key role in shaping businesses’ reputations and influencing consumer decisions

Google Reviews is one of the most important tools for businesses to establish credibility and attract potential customers. Harnessing the power of Google Reviews begins with one essential element: the review link.

But how do you find it? Let’s explore different methods to unlock your Google Review link and start taking advantage of it.

The official way to get your Google Reviews link

Note: if you don’t own a Google Business Profile, jump to the next section!

To generate your unique Google Reviews link, you can directly go to your Google My Business dashboard and follow these steps:

Log in to Google My Business:

Start by logging in to your Google My Business account. If you haven’t claimed your business listing yet, you’ll need to do so before proceeding.

Navigate to the “Home” Tab:

Once logged in, navigate to the “Home” tab in your Google My Business dashboard. This tab provides an overview of your business’s performance and various tools to enhance your online presence.

Locate the “Get more reviews” Card:

Scroll down the “Home” tab until you find the “Get more reviews” card. This card contains valuable resources and tools to help you encourage customers to leave reviews for your business.

Click on “Share review form”:

Within the “Get more reviews” card, you’ll find a button labeled “Share review form.” Click on this button to generate your unique Google Reviews link.

Copy the Generated Link:

After clicking on “Share review form,” Google will automatically generate a unique link that directs users straight to the review section of your business listing. Simply copy this link to your clipboard.

Using the PlaceID to create a Google Reviews link

This way is a bit more tricky to follow, but it’ll get you there even if you don’t have a Google Business Profile.

Find Your PlaceID:

Start by locating the PlaceID for your business on Google Maps. Search for your business using the Google Maps search bar and select your business from the search results.

Once your business listing appears, right-click on the map marker and select “What’s here?” from the dropdown menu. The PlaceID will appear in the search bar at the top of the screen.

Construct the Review URL:

With the PlaceID in hand, you can construct the URL for your Google Reviews link. The URL structure follows this format:

Replace “YOUR_PLACE_ID” with the PlaceID you obtained in the previous step.

Test the Link:

Once you’ve constructed the URL, test it in your web browser to ensure it directs users to the review section of your business listing on Google. This step helps verify that the link is working correctly before sharing it with customers.

How to use a Google Reviews link for more reviews

Google Reviews are invaluable for businesses seeking to build trust, enhance their online reputation, and attract new customers. Once you’ve generated your Google Reviews link, it’s essential to leverage it effectively to encourage more reviews from your satisfied customers.

Here are some strategies to make the most of your Google Reviews link and boost your review count:

Add the link to email communications

Include your Google Reviews link in email newsletters, order confirmations, and follow-up emails sent to customers. Encourage recipients to share their experiences and leave feedback by clicking on the provided link. Personalize your message and express gratitude for their support.

Feature the link on your web

Make it easy for visitors to leave reviews by prominently displaying your Google Reviews link on your website. Add a dedicated reviews section or widget that directs users to your Google My Business page. Include compelling CTAs urging visitors to share their thoughts and experiences.

Use your social media channels to promote your Google Reviews link and encourage engagement from followers. Craft engaging posts highlighting positive reviews or testimonials from satisfied customers. Include the link in your social media bios, posts, and stories to drive traffic to your review page.

Offer incentives or rewards

Provide incentives or rewards to customers who leave reviews on Google. Offer discounts, coupons, or entry into a prize draw as a token of appreciation for their feedback. Make sure your incentive complies with Google’s review policies and guidelines to avoid any violations.

Educate and guide customers

Communicate the value of leaving reviews and guide customers on how to do so using your Google Reviews link. Create step-by-step instructions or video tutorials demonstrating the review process to make it easy and hassle-free for customers. Address any concerns or questions they may have upfront.

Be quick to answer and engage with reviews

Demonstrate your commitment to customer satisfaction by responding promptly to reviews, both positive and negative. Engage with reviewers by thanking them for their feedback, addressing any concerns they may have, and offering solutions to resolve issues. Encourage ongoing dialogue and foster a sense of community around your brand.

Monitor your performance

Regularly monitor and analyze your review performance to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Use insights from customer feedback to refine your products, services, and customer experience. Adjust your strategies as needed to optimize your review generation efforts over time.

By implementing these strategies, you can effectively leverage your Google Reviews link to encourage more reviews from satisfied customers. Building a robust collection of positive reviews enhances your online reputation, builds trust with potential customers, and ultimately drives business growth.

Keep engaging with your audience, providing exceptional experiences, and encouraging feedback to maintain a steady stream of positive reviews for your business.
